Courtney Love/Hole (photoshoots)

Like most teens, I started plastering my walls with posters, magazine covers and clippings of the band who I claim as my inspiration to become a photographer, Hole.

A week before July 17, 2007 I was thrilled to receive a personal invite from Courtney Love to her exclusive show at The Roxy in West Hollywood, where she was testing out new songs. (granted I’m sure it was her assistant, but still thrilling!)

I was the lucky one to get a camera into the show and take these images. At the time of the show she was a solo act, but the many of the musicians onstage are part of the new line up of Hole. If you are a fan of the group check out my post on Jill Emery, their first base player!
